Youth T-Ball and Baseball
A coed recreational league designed for players to learn and develop fundamental baseball skills. Ages 5-6 play T-Ball rules. Ages 7-8 play coach pitch. Ages 9-10 play with a pitching machine. Ages 11-12 play live-pitch. Child must be 5 years prior to
June 9, 2009 to register.

Program Date: June 9 - July 23,2009; Tuesdays and/or Thursdays; Game
Location: Holland Youth Sports Complex and Southeast Clarke Park

Tae Kwon Do at Memorial Park
Children can learn the national sport of South Korea in a 9-week program being offered this summer at Memorial Park. Tae kwon-do is a combination of combat techniques, self-defense, sport, exercise and philosophy.

Classes take place Thursdays, June 11-July 30 from 6:00 to 7:00pm in the Memorial Park Recreation Hall. Classes are taught by 5th degree black belt Greg Hall who has been practicing and instructing the sport for over 20 years. All participants must wear a uniform and are responsible for providing their own.

Registration for this program is underway and continues until filled. Registration takes place at the Memorial Park office weekdays between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Payment for classes is due at time of registration.

These classes are for ages 6 to 13 years. The cost for this 9-week program is $100 per student for ACC residents or $120 per student for non-ACC residents. Scholarships are available for qualifying ACC residents. An additional fee for a uniform will be required of each student and is not covered by scholarship. More information regarding uniforms will be distributed at registration.
