The World of Wonder Playground (located on Whit Davis Road)WOW Playground to Re-Open Saturday, April 11
The World of Wonder (WOW) Playground, located at Southeast Clarke Park, will re-open Saturday, April 11 after four months of structural repairs.
The repair work included the installation of steel support structures for the entrance towers and other minor improvements. The work was a result of the overwhelming popularity and use of the playground since its opening in 2004.
The repairs were specifically scheduled for the winter months, when the playground has the least visitation and usage.
The 1700-square foot WOW Playground opened in 2004 and is the largest volunteer built playground in Georgia. The playground is located on the Whit Davis side of Southeast Clarke Park.
