Skate Park

ACC Skate Park at SE Clarke Park
The SPLOST 2000 funded skate park is designed to accommodate both skate boards and BMX bikes The Skate Park is 14,000 square feet in size.

The park features two main components including a bowl ranging from five to ten feet in depth and approximately 4,500 square feet in size. The second component is a street course including ramps, grinding edges, and rails, steps, and other unique features.

This skate park is constructed entirely of either poured in-place concrete or shotcrete and has a unique steel coping around the edges for grinding.


The Tony Hawk Foundation donated $10,000 to be used toward the project.

Hours of Operation
The ACC Skate Park is open during regular SE Clarke Park hours of operation: Daily, 8:00 a.m. to Sunset.

ACC Skate Park Rules and Regulations
Skate/BMX Park is unattended. SKATE OR RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Users under the age of 12 MUST be supervised by a parent or guardian while using the facility.

Skate/BMX Park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. - sunset. Hours subject to change due to adverse weather, maintenance, special events, and scheduled activities. Entering after hours is considered trespassing and may result in a trespass citation and seizure of equipment.

Know your abilities and skate/ride within them. Exercise common sense and general courtesy to other users. Only one rider per board or bike. Be alert of other skaters and bikes.

Securely strapped helmets are REQUIRED. Kneepads, elbow pads, and wrist guards highly recommended.

No waxing rails. No metal bike pegs, please.

Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.

No skating or riding when surface is wet or icy.

No pets, glass, food or drink allowed in skating area. Alcohol, tobacco, and drugs are also prohibited.

Be respectful of other riders. No profanity, abusive language or fighting.

No modifications (ramps, jumps, other obstacles, etc.) to the skating surface. Graffiti will result in closing the facility.

Violation of park rules will result in explusion from the facility and possible suspension of future park use.

Register for this upcoming local skateboarding contest.

This Skate Park event is scheduled for Saturday, May 17 and is open to men and women of all ages. A total of eight age groups will be awarded.

Registration starts at 8:00 a.m, with the event at 11:00 a.m. A $25 cash registration fee is required.
