Wee Toddle
A series of programs for toddlers and their parents. Dance, make music, and explore Memorial Park's lakes, trails and zoo. Dress appropriately for the weather and and wear comfortable walking shoes. Pre-registration is required by calling (706)613-3616.
Ages: 2 to 3 year olds
Dates: Tuesdays, August 3, 10, 17, and 24.
Time: 10:30 a.m.- 11:15a.m.
Fee: $10 ACC resident; $15 Non-ACC residents.
Location: Memorial Park

Wee Walk
A series of programs for pre-schoolers and their parents. Dance, make music, and explore Memorial Park's lakes, trails, and zoo. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Pre-registration required!
Ages: 4-5 (parent must accompany)
Dates: Tuesdays, August 3, 10, 17 and 24.
Time: 11:30a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Fee: $10 ACC resident; $15 Non-ACC resident.

Famiy Fishing
Come out and enjoy fun family fishing in our hidden Claypit Pond. We provide bait, cane fishing poles, and tips.

Ages: For families (children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult)

Full Moon Hike
Join us for a night hike to see nature in a different light. We will go on a guided night hike to enjoy nature by moonlight. Pre-registration required.

Nature's Trading Post
The trading post is open! Trade the one or two objects you have found in nature for points or other nature objects in our collection.

Naturalist's Walk
Look for butterflies in our garden, listen for frogs at the pond and search for salamanders in our woods. Bring your camera and/or binoculars.

Geocaching Adventures
Learn the basics of geocaching, including how to use a GPS unit and no trace ethics before we go geocaching to search for hidden treasure. GPS units will be provided. Pre-registration required by calling (706) 613-3615, ext. 242.

Ages:All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Babies and Beasties Series
Join us for a program that allows toddlers and their parents to learn about the world around them. Interact with nature through hands-on activites, crafts, and outdoor adventures to spark an interest early. Themes change seasonally.

Hip Hop Speaks to Children
"Celebration of Poetry with a Beat" Let the rhythm of the words of Mos Def, Queen Latifah and Maya Angelou inspire you to write your own celebratory poem then perform it for us.

Parent-Child Dodge Ball Game
It's finally ok to throw things at grown-ups! Come let off some steam in this Parents versus Kids Free for all!
