Refuses (March 1- April 19)
In the spirit of the Parisian Salon Des Refuses, the historic Morton Theatre is hosting Refusés this year, as part of their centennial celebration. Back after a two-year hiatus, Refuses is a salon of works refused from the Lyndon House Arts Center's 35th Juried Exhibition and presents a wide spectrum of work by Athens area artists.

The exhibition will run from March 1 through April 19 during regular Morton Theatre hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3 p.m.-6 p.m. and evenings of scheduled public events.

Period Decorative Arts Collection (1840-1890) and Athens History Museum

The Ware-Lyndon House (c. 1850's) is a Late Greek Revival home with Italianate influence listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The interior has been restored and arranged with decorative arts and furnishings of the period. The historic display room features artifacts related to the historic house and to the history of Athens.
