Zoo Parties at Bear Hollow
Make your next celebration a wild affair!

Our three-hour zoo parties include use of our new air-conditioned Zoo Operations Building, a one-hour guided zoo feeding tour, a Bear Hollow t-shirt. For an additional fee, you can add a one-of-a-kind speciality gourmet zoo cake - in the shape of your favorite animal and tableware!

Parties available Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Saturdays and Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 -5:00 p.m.
Only $75 and up for twenty-five guests

Gymnastics Birthday Party at Athens-Clarke Gymnastics Academy (Bishop Park)
HOME OF THE WORLD'S GREATEST BIRTHDAY PARTIES!

Hey parents, why not enjoy your child's birthday as much as your child? Leave all the work and fuss to us! We give the greatest birthday parties in the world!

Our parties consist of 1-hour of exciting gymnastics challenges and 30-minutes in one of our party areas. A personal party coach stays with each group of 1 up to 15 children and a personal party host will assist you in the party area. You are responsible for providing the cake, juice boxes, additional favors and decorations. We will provide plain paper goods including invitations, plates, napkins, and forks for your party participants. The birthday child will receive a t-shirt and all guests will receive a special gift.

Ages: 3 to 12 years

Times: Parties are scheduled on Saturdays between 1 and 4 p.m. Parties may be booked between August and April.

Registration: Parties may be scheduled up to 1 month in advance.

Location: Bishop Park Gym

Fee: $120 for 1 up to 15 children in attendance; $200 for 16 up to 25 children in attendance; $30 for each additional birthday child ($50 of this fee is considered a deposit and is non-refundable)

Perfect Kids' Parties
A great birthday party can be loads of fun for children AND adults! Here are some practical hints to help you plan the perfect party and make the most of your child's special day.

1. Book your party at Athens Clarke Gymnastics Academy and leave all the work to us! You may schedule your party 2-months in advance.

2. Allow enough time for planning and give yourself at least one month to plan details: best day and time, decorations, food and party favors.

3. Involve the birthday child. Depending on your child's age, he/she can help plan the theme, guest list and menu. Your child can also help by addressing the invitations which are provided by ACGA. You will want to mail out your invitations 2 to 3 weeks before the party and include RSVP. Remember - the reason for the party is to make your child feel special!

4. Get a helper - ACGA provides a personal party coach and a personal party host. The coach will lead the children in fun activities during the first hour of the party. The host will handle the extras: inital setup (which includes all paper products provided by ACGA), serving refreshments and restocking as needed, taking pictures (you provide the camera), opening of gifts and clean up.

5. Don't forget the Camera! Take lots of photos. You and your child will want to remember this special celebration. Pictures can be sent to partygoers in thank-you notes. A good thing to remember is that it is not necessary to have every child in every picture. Candid shots of small groups, pairs, and individuals capture the fun best!

6. Send Thank-you notes. The personal party host will provide you with a gift list which indicates the type of gift given along with the gift givers name. Sit down with your child a week or two after the party to write the thank-you notes.

Sandy Creek Nature Center
Children, ages 4-12 years, can celebrate their special day at the Nature Center!

The two-hour party includes a forty-five minute "nature program" of your choice! Program topics include

Turtle Time: From box turtles to a gopher tortoise, meet several SCNC trutles and learn more about these amazing animals

Super Snakes: Meet resident native snakes, play snake games or go on a snake search through the woods!

Wildlife Adventure: Who knows what might be discovered today inside and out - go and find out! Includes live animals and scavenger hunt!

Dynamic Dinos: Learn about life long ago and get dirty digging for fossils

The remaining time if yours for cake, gifts, clean-up, etc!

Party-goers will enjoy up-close animal encounters, Discovery Trail Hikes and Games, and an inside party room with tables, chairs, and microwave/refrigerator access.

The cost for up to 20 children is $95. Sandy Creek Nature Center members receive a 10% discount.

Fee includes a $20 non-refundable deposit to be paid within one week of scheduling the party.
